GOVERNOR PAWLENTY ANNOUNCES FINALISTS FOR THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT VACANCY IN OLMSTED COUNTY -- July 28, 2010
Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced that he has accepted the recommendations of the Commission on Judicial Selection for a Third Judicial District trial court bench vacancy in the city of Rochester in Olmsted County. The vacancy occurred with the retirement of the Honorable Lawrence E. Agerter on May 7, 2010. The finalists are Jennifer J. Dunn-Foster, Geoffrey A. Hjerleid, and Christina K. Stevens.

It was announced today that Governor Tim Pawlenty is in the Middle East to visit with members of the military.  “This is another opportunity to visit with troops serving in Iraq and to personally express Minnesota’s appreciation and respect for them.
